Wow, this is just like a chat with a real author!!! Did you read my comment from Darla? In fact I think I should have an order blank on my blog so people can just click and order it right from my blog!!! Instant delivery to their Kindle. We should put one on Sharechair’s site too, so when they are reading articles about getting a new iPad or Kindle Fire, they have an idea of what book to load on their new device first!

I’m kidding – sort of. When we have our sites for organizations, they can use pay pal and order materials right on the website. If, and this is only a bizarre brainstorm of mine, they could read a review on someone’s website, for example, and then click a buy it now button on that site, and use pay pal.
Actually I was not being serious. But I have gotten some really great feedback about the book. The main reason for that is that the review is not done for profit. As soon as a person starts writing reviews for profit, and I mean direct profit from the book they review, then of course, they are going to say whatever it takes to get someone to buy the book. Because I get NO profit from the book, I am a trustworthy reviewer. And because I was a consultant for Common Core Standards, I have knowledge of what is expected, and therefore increase my credibility another notch. If I DID have that buy it button on my site, I would immediately lose any credibility I had! So … don’t get excited Dianne. Just keep writing the great books, and I’ll keep reading them. 🙂 Besides that, the book is so inexpensive to purchase, you are only talking about pennies per purchase by the time you divide money between, pay pal, the author, the place that ships the books, etc. etc.
I’m still in this as a vanity site, and I plan to stay that way. I really like being vain!!! 🙂

I left this comment on Marsha’s blog by mistake. So here is a copy:
I rarely read book reviews but the “bullying” in the first few words of this one kept me locked in to the end. I thought I’d download the book from Amazon as my next Kindle read. However, when I went to Amazon this is what was said:
“The Eleventh Question is a magical story of want and desire. A witch’s young apprentice yearns for the answers to life and a lonely girl asks the questions that may set him free. Their intertwined stories touch the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts and following the path of our dreams”.
So, my question is: “Is this the same book?”. The reblogged review made me go straight to Amazon to buy. Then the Amazon stuff turned me off completely.

I thought it was an interesting comment as well. I guess different reviewers see different things and I’m not sure where the word ‘witch’ came from, but I guess there’s a lot going on in the story and different people pick up in different things.

For some reason (egocentricity, perhaps?), I felt that bullying in the schools was primarily a problem HERE (in the U.S.) and not “THERE.”
Sounds like it’s a more global phenomenon than I’d previously considered.

I have been hearing so much about bullying lately. It’s got me to wondering.
I don’t deny that kids today are experiencing it but I have to say I have absolutely no recollection of such things when I was in school. I was the fat kid back then, my momma dressed me in my father’s army fatigue jacket (by 9th grade I was already wearing things that fit him) so I was hardly the most fashionable kid in the class.
To be honest, I have been known to be socially obtuse — so I might have been bullied and just didn’t pay it any attention.
I just wonder when this started. I can’t recall our daughter having those problems — but then she went to a school of the arts and all the kids attending that school WANTED to be there and NO ONE dressed in fashion: they had girls dressing like boys, boys to whom the girls would loan their skirts, and all manner of things I never even dreamt of in the 50’s and 60’s when I was going to school.
Oh well…. maybe better if I DONT remember such goings on…..
