Puppy Love
Just a quick one today (between mowing the lawn and painting windows). I have finished cleaning and painting five windows and only have 22 to go (yikes!). I’m hoping to get some pics of my hard work up here by the end of the week.
On a rant side note – if you have windows with etched glass and you need to paint them, please take the glass out first. I’m spending a lot of my painting time in the shed cursing the person/people who painted the glass. I’m pretty sure they can’t hear me because these windows are over 100 years old, but it makes me feel better – end of rant side note.
But the real reason for this post is because we have two new puppies. They are both female Arab Mastiff X and mine is the one with the brown spots. I have a problem – what am I going to name this cute little girl???
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Have a lovely week!
They are SO cute!! I can’t think of any cute names right now other than Roxy which sounds a tiny bit like RUC-y…. Congratulations on your new family member!
And good luck getting all those windows done….

Busy day here today. We leave tomorrow to run up to Boston to pick up the princess, but I wanted to check in to see the suggestions for names for the puppy. They are both so adorable!
I feel your pain on the windows. The beautiful one in our bathroom has paint in the crevices around the edges from whoever painted in there last.
Have fun with the puppies!

Excuse me . . . but do you REALLY expect me to believe that you have been stripping windows and mowing the yard today? With PUPPIES in the house? Right.
As for names, how about “Cinnabun” . . . she looks like a cinnamon bun topped with icing and she’s SUPER SWEET! 😀
Does her sister have a name yet?

Her sister is Hubby’s and he’s thinking of ‘Jazz’, but he’s still undecided.
Yes – I mowed half the yard this morning (then got too hot) 😦 and I’ve painted the windows and now it’s lunch time and time for a play 😀
Cinnabun certainly is a very cute name 😀

We had a “Jazz” cat (male) before Tigger . . . our other cat at the time was Cayenne (female). Jazz’s mom was Jasmine.

The first thing that came out of my mouth when I saw them was ohmygoodnessmeeeeeee… but I guess that it a bit unweildly for a dog’s name. The right name will come to you, then you will abrreviate it, embellish it, and turn it into half a dozen nicknames 🙂
And yes, curses on lousy lazy painters 😉
LikeLike
LOL – I’m pretty sure they didn’t even take the windows down, just slapped paint all over everything 😯
Ohmygoodnessmeeeeeee is the best name ever and then I could abbreviate it to OMGM and then Omy 😀 It’s always fun at the vet when they ask for the dogs name. I could say ‘this one is called Ohmygoodnessmeeeeeee’ LOL 😀

Cassandra – I just looked at her, and that was the name that popped up. As a former dog trainer, I have learnt that having s- sounds in a dog’s name is great, as apparently this is a sound the dog easily picks up on.

Be careful, my cousin named her cat Loki and he continued being a crazy trickster! They tend to fulfill their names it seems to me.
Good luck with all those doors. What a pain in the booty, but they look so amazing when you finish them, I am sure they will be worth all the effort

Puppy pandemonium all right! And then yesterday a kitten wandered into the shed and hasn’t left. People sometimes dump their kittens in this area because they think it’s ‘out of the way’ but they end up here! I’ve looked around for any more (there’s never just one) and can’t find them so they may have gotten lost in the cane fields. Oh dear – another mouth to feed 😯
