Wedding bliss
I’ve been offline for about a week for a very good reason. My daughter was married in Melbourne on Saturday and it was the wedding of the century (I’m not being bias! LOL). My daughter is one of the most organized people I know and the amount of planning and preparation that went into this wedding really showed on the day. Everything was absolutely perfect.
I haven’t received the ‘official’ photographs yet, but in the meantime check these out. We had an absolute ball!
The first few pics were taken in the photo booth that was set up during the reception.

I’m SO proud. My first experience as Mother of the Bride was one of the most amazing and loving experiences ever.

What a wonderful reason not to be writing. Some of the time, you have to be living or you won’t have anything to write about. These photos show that you really do it up right on the living part. Congrats on your lovely family–and all the best to the lucky young couple.

I just loved the idea of the photo booth. All the pics went into an album for the bride and groom. There were loads of cameras there as well as the professional photographer so as the pics dribble in I’m checking them out. They’re on a honeymoon now for a month and I’m going to have to wait that long to see the entire wedding album! Can’t wait 😀

That’s a clever idea, Dianne. Now if I could only get one of my children to date someone, I might have need of a wedding plan. Right–that doesn’t seem to happen!

Everyone looks so happy! The photo booth photos made me smile – I remember goofing off with friends in high school when we’d have contests to see who could make the funniest face. Those are some pics I’d never want to find on the internet 🙂

I remember those old photo booths as well, Janna! We’d all pull faces and I’m glad we didn’t have the technology then that we do now! The wedding was sensational and everyone was so very happy – and I guess that’s the secret of a wonderful celebration 😀

Thank you so much. I’m so glad it went off without a hitch and everyone had a great time. Phew – now I can relax and get back to writing and relaxing! I’ve only just realised as I’m sitting here this morning that I must have been a little nervous about it for the last few months but put it to the back of my mind 😀

Families usually only travel thousands of miles to meet for two reasons and the wedding reason is the best one! I just love seeing all the family and this was the best celebration ever! I can’t wait to see the other pictures. The happy couple are on a month honeymoon, so I’m just going to have to wait 😉

The photo booth is fantastic. There were dress up costumes there but I didn’t wear any (I was wearing a hat for the wedding! Unheard of) 😉 All the pics from the photo booth went into an album with messages from each person. Now that’s a job I’d love to have! 😉

The photo booth was a fantastic idea. All the pics were put in an album for the bride and groom with a little note from each person. They had a lot of giggles going through the album the day after the wedding 😉

She is my only daughter, so he has to be ‘perfect’ LOL. I absolutely love my new son-in-law, he’s a gem and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t know how I would have coped if I didn’t like him (yikes – I don’t even want to think about that).

Fun weddings are the best weddings – it’s all I shoot LOL. We always have tons of laughs. Both you and your daughter look gorgeous – in fact, a lot more like sisters! (And for Zen, photobooths at weddings are huge here in Canada).

It was great having the photo booth as well as the professional photographer. Because my daughter is now on her honeymoon I won’t see the professional pics for about another month so it’s good to look through the others. I can’t wait to see the pics!
