Writer’s Nook – complete

I haven’t written a post for a few weeks because the RUC is really keeping me busy (and fit). We’ve been painting walls and ceilings and laying floors in the dining/lounge room. It’s not completely finished yet so I’ll post some before and after shots when it’s done.

My book sales have also spiked in the past few weeks so I’m thinking I should stay quiet more often.  I don’t know the reason but it seems to have happened since I posted my book trailers on multiple platforms (or this could just be wishful thinking and a big fat coincidence).

In the meantime, the writer’s nook is looking nice so I thought I’d post a few pics here for your viewing pleasure.

If you get bored, just rest your chin on your hands for 10 seconds and have a snooze while I go through it.

After a big night out at a barbecue with friends on Sunday we had a ‘rest day’ yesterday and will be getting back into it this afternoon. Wish me luck (with loads of water)!

There is a door at the end of the kitchen to the right that leads into the lounge/dining room. The other door is leading outside to the writer’s nook (where we do most of our casual eating as well). Then there is another door from the writer’s nook to the bedroom which is handy when I feel like getting up in the middle of the night to do some writing 😀

Maybe for my next update I should put in a plan of the house to make it clearer 😉

I’m sitting there right now! 😀 I’ve been trying to write between finishing off the ‘big room’ that’s taking about 6 hours a day. It’ll be finished today and I’ll get some more before and after shots – I think they’ll even surprise me! 😀

You are a master juggler. I think a lot of us women could be circus performers if we tried.
& I’d love to see more pics. I always love your photos.

Beautiful nook, beautiful kitchen, beautiful life, my blessed one. Congrats on the spike. I think it might be from all the books you gave away for free. Give and you shall receive. {{{Hugs}}} kozo

I’m feeling a bit cool this morning, but I think it’s about 24C (75F) – living in the tropics makes everything around that temp seem ‘cool’ 😉

Beautiful and inviting. And congrats on the windfall of sales! I downloaded Let Sleeping Gods Lie onto my phone, but am going to have to get the book. I just cannot read without turning real pages – and forget it’s there! (It kept me well enthralled on the one and only day per year I take public transit!)

I had to show my husband, too. We did ours 12 years ago, and now it’s about time to do some remodeling. At least the bath in our bedroom. I spilled red fingernail polish on the carpet, and keep it covered with a rug. I need a new tile bath! At the time I wanted the warmth of carpet. I’m ready to have cold feet again! 🙂
